The American TV channel HBO has announced a documentary film, the creators of which claim that they have managed to reveal the identity of the creator of Bitcoin under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto.
The film was directed by Cullen Hoback, whose works include the miniseries Q: Let the Storm Rise! about debunking the authors of the conspiracy theory called QAnon.
The HBO film premieres on October 9. The announcement says that âthe disclosure could send shockwaves through global financial markets and even the US presidential election,â a reference to Donald Trumpâs embrace of the crypto community.
The title of the film has not been revealed.
