🔸Tomarket Telegram Game Reverses Airdrop Bans for Many Players Ahead of TOMA Token Listing
Tomarket, the popular Telegram-based game, revealed airdrop allocations for players on Friday in anticipation of its upcoming TOMA token listing. However, a number of players voiced concerns that they had been wrongfully banned for alleged cheating, despite claiming they had done nothing wrong.
The Tomarket team initially stated that they would investigate these complaints and provide updates later in the week. By Tuesday, they confirmed that many of the bans had been overturned following a review. Players whose accounts were cleared are now eligible to receive tokens as part of the airdrop.
"After reviewing the cases, we have successfully verified and unlocked a large number of accounts. Please check your airdrop status to see if your account has been cleared," the Tomarket development team posted on Telegram.
While Decrypt reached out to Tomarket for specific details on how many accounts were reinstated, the team has not yet responded with precise figures.
The airdrop was linked to the launch of the TOMA token, which was created on The Open Network (TON) blockchain. However, despite revealing the airdrop allocations, Tomarket has yet to set a date for the official exchange listing where players will be able to trade their TOMA tokens. In the meantime, players can earn additional rewards through the game.
There has been no clear timeline given for when the TOMA token will become available for trading. Decrypt also inquired about the total supply of the TOMA token, but the Tomarket team has not provided further details on this either.
Tomarket has grown rapidly since its launch, boasting a user base of over 40 million players. The game's popularity continues to grow as more players join, excited by the upcoming token listing and the rewards that come with it.
