💸 I fell victim to a P2P scam in Dec-2023, losing nearly $500. Let my experience be a cautionary tale.
🎣 Scammers in Pakistan are adept at luring unsuspecting traders.
😞 I made the mistake of paying a seller, only for the order to be canceled by the system. Now, I'm still waiting for the seller to repost the ad.
‼️ Here are some common P2P scam methods to watch out for:
1️⃣ Overpriced ads: Sellers offering crypto at ridiculously high prices, preying on new Binance users.
2️⃣ Fake payments: Scammers send payment notifications, but you receive nothing in your bank account.
3️⃣ Invalid payments: You receive payment, but it's either fake or leads to your account being frozen.
🛡️ Suggestions:
✅ Push for a direct fiat buy option on Binance.
✅ Before trading, verify seller/buyer KYC, completion rate, and order history.
✅ Prioritize older sellers with a higher number of orders.
