Why doesn't the Wise King and the forces behind him want to go to war?
The reason is actually very simple, it’s not because the Wise King is kind, but because he won't profit from the war.
Every time the Beautiful Country instigates a war in the world, the biggest beneficiaries are the financial conglomerates and the military-industrial complex.
The big shots who distribute money in the military-industrial complex are just a few, and it’s not his turn. Moreover, when the Wise King's predecessor sent someone to Afghanistan to check the military accounts, both rounds of auditors ended up dead under mysterious circumstances, which shows how deep the resentment is between the two parties.
The financial conglomerates are even less likely to give the Wise King any money. The Wise King wants to decouple and cut chains, to implement a contraction strategy, and to strengthen industrial capital. These policies are all against financial capital. If the Wise King plays like this, where will the Beautiful Country's financial capital go to harvest?
The Wise King has cut off their financial lifeline; how can the financial capital give him any money?
The forces behind the Wise King are traditional energy giants, and his supporters are the lower-class rednecks. War does not benefit them; the ones who die in wars are also the lower-class rednecks, who fundamentally do not get a share of the war profits.
From a bottom-line logic perspective, the Wise King really does not want to go to war.
