According to CoinDesk, Partisia Blockchain Foundation CEO Adrienne Youngman stated that Partisia Blockchain's unique experience enables it to address data privacy issues in public blockchains. The privacy concerns of public blockchains have long deterred businesses and institutions from adopting the technology, as it exposes sensitive data. Partisia offers 'complete data privacy' using advanced Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology to facilitate complex use cases. Youngman and Chief Product Officer Mark Bundgaard noted that Partisia's uniqueness lies in its 36 years of experience. In 1988, Danish cryptographer Ivan DamgĂ„rd co-authored the first paper on Multi-Party Computation while pursuing his PhD and co-invented the Merkle–DamgĂ„rd structure. Partisia applies MPC for the Danish and Norwegian governments as well as multinational companies, combining it with blockchain for private deployments. Youngman mentioned that Partisia Blockchain has over 16 years of successful track record, including collaboration with Danish health authorities to use patient data without revealing identities. It has also partnered with global leaders like Bosch and the Red Cross to enhance the efficiency and security of aid distribution in conflict areas. MPC is a cryptographic technique that ensures security by sharing secrets among multiple parties, differing from Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP), as it offers more combinability and complex querying possibilities. MPC tokens are also the native tokens of Partisia Blockchain.
