Bitcoin reaches $99,000, altcoins rise
● Bitcoin returns to the $99,000 mark for the first time after adjusting on December 26.

● After closing up for the sixth consecutive day, Bitcoin this morning returned above the $99,000 mark. This market-leading asset hit a local peak near $99,333, the highest level since December 26, before currently retreating slightly to around $98,800. In the 4-hour timeframe, Bitcoin has made higher lows, strengthening the short-term bullish sentiment. If the asset manages to maintain its price above the resistance level of $98,951, BTC may push prices up to $100,000. Conversely, if this resistance level holds, BTC is likely to return to the support area of $96,000 - $95,000 in the short term.

● Ethereum (ETH) closed down yesterday, breaking a chain of four days of growth. However, the price still shows positive signs of holding the $3,600 area, with bulls attempting to push ETH higher. ETH also hit a local peak near $3,700 this morning, the highest level since December 19.
