As Cointelegraph reported, the number of wallets holding 1,000 BTC or more has increased by nearly 3.5% over the past 52 weeks, while the number of wallets holding 0.0001 BTC or less has increased by 75%.

Data shows that the number of wallets holding 1 to 10 BTC has decreased by 0.35%, and the number of wallets holding 10 to 100 BTC has decreased by more than 3%. The number of wallets holding 10,000 BTC or more has not increased.

The data comes from BitInfoCharts and shows the changes in the number of wallets with different BTC holdings between October 1, 2023 and September 23, 2024.

The increase in the number of bottom-tier wallets may indicate an influx of new users or a decrease in the number of middle-class wallets. The increase in the number of wallets holding 1,000 to 10,000 BTC indicates that some large holders have reduced their holdings.

As of October 2023, the number of BTC wallets worth between $26,542 and $2,654,200 has decreased significantly, but the number of BTC wallets worth $1 million has increased by approximately 25% since the beginning of 2024.
