Matter Labs, the team behind ZkSync, gave up on trying to trademark "ZK" after facing criticism from the crypto community.
The company had previously filed to trademark the term "zero-knowledge" (ZK) in nine countries, which sparked a dispute with Polyhedra Network over the use of ZK as a ticker symbol.
