The U.S 🇺🇸. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved Form 19b-4 for eight ETH Spot ETF issuers: BlackRock, Fidelity, Grayscale, Bitwise, VanEck, Ark, Invesco Galaxy, and Franklin Templeton.
However, issuers of ETFs still have to obtain approval for their S-1 registration data before they can start trading. It hasn't been determined how long this procedure will take yet, but Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart expects it to take several weeks.
Currently, ETF issuer VanEck has submitted a modified S-1 application form for an Ethereum spot ETF.
