I entered the express P2P section on the app, eager to sell some fractional BTC. It auto-matched me with a buyer, and I, trusting Binance, proceeded with the transaction. The buyer assured me they'd send the Fiat after I released my crypto and stayed online for 5 minutes. But alas, it was a trap.
After releasing my crypto, I was left empty-handed. The buyer vanished into thin air, and my crypto was gone from my P2P wallet. Only then could I see the scammer's history – a trail of % order fills and duped victims like myself.
