The ApeCoin Community has voted against the proposal to introduce two new NFT collections, namely Ape Coin Armory Club and Ape Coin Pet Club. The vote was conducted by the ApeCoin DAO, where the members of the community voted to either accept or reject the proposal.

The proposal suggested the creation of 20,000 NFTs for each of the collections, which were planned to be distributed for free among the crypto community. The estimated cost of the NFTs was calculated to be $168,000.

The ApeCoin Armory Club and Ape Coin Pet Club NFT collections were designed to be multi-link, allowing them to be connected to other NFT and metaverse projects such as Otherside, Decentraland, and The Sandbox. The proposal hinted at the possibility of seeing these NFTs in 3D worlds of other metaverse projects.

However, the proposal failed to garner enough support from the community. Out of the total votes cast, 83.99% of the voters rejected the proposal, while only 9.99% were in favor of it. This outcome reflects the diverse opinions within the ApeCoin community on the introduction of new NFT collections.

The images shared in the proposal showcased the NFTs featuring the ape logo on a shield and the pets that would have formed the Ape Coin Pet Club. The proposal also claimed that all of the NFTs from both collections were unique, with some having more rare features than others.

The ApeCoin DAO, the decentralized autonomous organization responsible for managing ApeCoin, is composed of the ApeCoin community members. The DAO is designed to ensure that the community has a say in the decision-making process related to the project’s development and growth.

In conclusion, while the proposal to introduce two new NFT collections has been rejected by the ApeCoin community, the vote demonstrates the importance of community engagement in the decision-making process. It also shows that the ApeCoin DAO is committed to ensuring that the community’s voice is heard and that all decisions are made with their best interests in mind.
