Ethereum reacts to US ETF approval with growth
Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency, rose on Thursday after US regulators decided to approve the country's first spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds, Business Insider writes.
Ethereum rose 10% in the past 24 hours to $2,650, hitting a 20-month high, while Bitcoin was little changed at $46,070.
Traders are betting that ETFs that invest directly in Ethereum will be next in line to receive the green light from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
