Today is Christmas, and the market is rising instead of falling. In fact, the Christmas holiday market has ended early. After completing a second bottom test, the market has shown a relatively strong rebound, which, although somewhat unexpected, is reasonable. The surprise comes from the fact that today the major cryptocurrencies are consolidating, with some strong altcoins pulling up, but they have not reached new highs, thus falling within the category of catch-up. The upcoming market will depend on the major cryptocurrencies; if they continue to be suppressed at 100,000, the altcoins are bound to continue fluctuating.
Additionally, the AI concept has seen a good increase in recent days, mainly due to the concept of AI agents promoted by AI16z. The AI sector is sure to have some good projects emerging, as this hot topic is too significant, and even minor applications can gain popularity easily. The cryptocurrency market is not short of hot topics; the key is still the funds. With funds and topics, even the most absurd can become trendy, but as always, chasing after hot topics without actual value can easily lead to pitfalls.
This year, I have personally avoided several major traps and have warned about the risks. For example, the inscription sector was likely to lose money if played at its hottest moments; the TG mini-games, which I immediately judged as garbage; and the recent meme coins, most of which are likely to plummet in price. When chasing hot topics, it is essential to make reasonable value judgments about the projects; being obsessed with secondary market prices involves significant risks.
When is it safer to buy? The old saying still holds true: buy when no one is paying attention. For instance, recently, the market has dropped significantly from its peak, with some cryptocurrencies even halved. After these declines, the market's risks have decreased a lot, making it a good time for us to add positions. Of course, since this mid-term adjustment is uncertain in duration, it is best to buy on dips and make appropriate swings. I am quite confident that next year's bull market will still happen.
