Major Collaborations and Developments
December 19: To promote unique and interoperable Web3 solutions in the Middle East, digital enabler stc Bahrain collaborates with the first universal blockchain ZetaChain. stc Bahrain is a subsidiary of Saudi Telecom Company, the largest telecom provider in the Middle East.
As part of this collaboration, stc Bahrain will run a validation node on the ZetaChain mainnet. This initiative not only ensures network security and scalability but also provides developers with a platform to develop and deploy Universal Apps that can natively access all major blockchains, including the Bitcoin network.
Technology and Developer Support
December 18: Google Cloud now supports free testing of ZETA, available for developers building Universal Apps on ZetaChain. This collaboration with @googlecloud accelerates the mission to build a Universal Blockchain that can natively access any blockchain (including Bitcoin!).
December 16: ZetaChain officially announces the launch of Gateway! With Gateway, developers and users now have a single, universal entry point to interact with Universal Apps spanning from Ethereum to Bitcoin, Solana, and other blockchains.
Ecosystem and Community Activities
December 15: At the @Solana_zh’s @TaipeiWeek event, team members shared ZetaChain's mission: to build a Universal Blockchain that can natively access any blockchain, making cryptocurrency as accessible, diverse, and interconnected as the internet.
December 13: As part of the 10,000,000 ZETA program, ZetaChain has delegated to its first six partners. Ecosystem participants contributing to the Universal Blockchain will qualify for the next round of delegation a few months later.
Network Performance and Dapp Launch
December 11: ZetaChain has processed a total of 158,000,000 transactions
December 9: The top ten lending application @avalonfinance_ is now live on ZetaChain. Avalon Labs is building the first universal lending application supporting native BTC @Pumpbtcxyz across DeFi.
December 3: @beam_dex, ZetaChain's latest universal DEX, allows users to perform native cross-chain swaps from any chain, including directly from Bitcoin.
November 29: @fingerpump_fun, the first Web3 game that allows earning by typing, is now live on Telegram, with over 15,000 players weekly.
