Trump is preparing to 'withdraw' again!

According to the New York Times, on the local time of the 8th, the climate and environment transition team of President-elect Trump is considering relocating the headquarters of the Environmental Protection Agency out of Washington and making significant reforms.

The report cites six sources who say that the transition team has prepared a series of executive orders and announcements regarding climate and energy, including a move to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Agreement again. According to previous reports, in 2017, the Trump administration insisted on withdrawing from the Paris Agreement, and subsequently, the Biden administration rejoined the agreement.

The New York Times states that Trump is expected to quickly take action to end the Biden administration's ban on liquefied natural gas exports and revoke an exemption that allows California and other states to implement stricter pollution standards.

Additionally, according to Reuters, Trump promised during his campaign to take several actions outlined in the plan. Levitt, a spokesperson for Trump's transition team, stated in response to Reuters' inquiry that the election results on November 5 have given Trump "the power to fulfill his campaign promises, and he will deliver on them."
