On the Nervos CKB network, issuing tokens has become simple and intuitive. Even blockchain beginners can easily create and issue their own tokens in just a few steps. Here is a detailed tutorial:

I. Preparation Steps

Before starting to issue tokens, you need a CKB wallet and sufficient CKB stored in it. It is recommended to use the Keypering wallet, a lightweight wallet specifically designed for the CKB ecosystem.

1. Install the Keypering wallet

Download the suitable installation package according to your system: Windows users choose the .exe file, Mac users choose the .dmg file.

After installation, launch the Keypering wallet application.

2. Create or import a CKB wallet

Create a new wallet: If you are a new user, click 'Create a Wallet' to create a wallet, securely save the generated mnemonic (12 words), and then set a name and password for the wallet.

Import an existing wallet: If you already have a CKB wallet, you can import it using the mnemonic (select 'Import Wallet Seed') or Keystore file (select 'Import from Keystore').

3. Deposit CKB

Deposit at least 142 CKB into the Keypering wallet address, which is the minimum fee for creating tokens.

3. Configure token information and issue

Enter the 'Token Issuance' page, fill in the token quantity and other information, then click 'Submit'.

Authorize as prompted by the wallet and enter your password, waiting for on-chain transaction confirmation. After the transaction is completed, your tokens will be successfully created!

After the token is created, operations such as transfer, inquiry, and information updates can be performed.

1. Transfer

On the 'Token Transfer' page, enter the recipient's CKB address and transfer amount.

If the recipient's address lacks the required CKB for storage, you can check 'I will provide the necessary CKB for the recipient'.

Confirm authorization and enter your password; after the transaction is completed, the tokens will be successfully transferred.

2. Query transaction records

You can view transfer records through the CKB browser and use the transaction hash to query all token information issued based on CKB.

3. Update token information

On the 'Token Information' page, you can submit requests to update the token's name, symbol, logo, and other information. After sending the information, it can be updated once approved.

4. Destroy tokens

If you no longer need a certain token, you can go to the 'Token Destruction' page to perform the destruction operation.
