A wallet that had been inactive for over 14 years moved 50 BTC worth almost $3.4 million to a new address, Whale Alert analysts noted.

The wallet received its first cryptocurrency for $2 in 2010. Thus, in 14.3 years the amount has grown by about 1.7 million times.

In early March, an unknown person sold 1,000 BTC mined in 2010, earning approximately $68 million.

Later, a group of 80 wallets moved 2,352.62 BTC worth over $163 million. They remained dormant for eight years.

That same month, an address that had been dormant for almost 12 years moved all of its 500 BTC, worth almost $35 million.

Recall that in January, CryptoQuant analysts drew attention to the movement of 49,866 BTC that had been “sleeping” for more than five years. But the coins were not sent to the exchange.

In June, a Satoshi Nakamoto-era miner sent 50 BTC mined 14 years ago to Binance.
