Recently, blockchain detective ZackXBT exposed a situation that has shaken the cryptocurrency community. The story revolves around well-known KOL Jaypeg and the memecoin "Uptober." Here’s how the drama unfolded:

1️⃣ The developer of Uptober made a deal with Jaypeg to promote their coin for a fee of 2% of the total supply (about $2,200). Jaypeg quickly agreed, provided his wallet address, but after receiving the tokens, he immediately deleted the wallet and claimed that it was "sent to the wrong address," insisting he hadn’t received anything.

2️⃣ The developer, trusting Jaypeg, transferred the tokens to the provided wallet. The result? All the tokens were dumped as if no deal had ever taken place. When confronted, Jaypeg continued to deny any involvement.

3️⃣ As the story spread on X (Twitter), Jaypeg maintained his innocence, claiming he was falsely accused and even suggested the evidence had been photoshopped.

4️⃣ Refusing to back down, the developer released the Telegram chat logs as evidence. This revealed that Jaypeg had indeed provided the wallet and later deleted it. However, Jaypeg then claimed it was a "random" wallet, not his own.

5️⃣ In a further twist, ZackXBT discovered that the wallet receiving the Uptober tokens had also received an airdrop from a Solana Saga phone, right after Jaypeg posted an unboxing video of this phone. This made Jaypeg's denial even harder to believe.

A laughable yet tragic situation, where an entire project was scammed, and a KOL sold out their reputation for a mere $2,200.
