Recently, the mini-app Coub, with which NOT actively cooperates, released its own memepad. Despite the fact that it is still not in beta, it is already enjoying considerable popularity. A number of large infls on the tone have already launched their tokens-lodki here for a couple of hours. The memepad collects significant volumes. For example, the token of one famous blogger even managed to reach a capitalization of more than a million dollars and acquire several thousand holders. Perhaps not all (and probably most) of my subscribers do not have experience trading shields on the tone and have a poor idea of what a capitalization of a million is for a meme on our favorite blockchain. So, for a shield on the tone, this is a lot. And here it is not even traded on the exchange. Just dust, you could say. In general, the volumes are amazing.
But everything is not as rosy as it may seem at first glance. There are several significant problems that I cannot help but tell you about.
Firstly, the mempad is still in beta. What does this mean? For example, I will briefly outline how its most successful analogue on the tone works - Gas Pump. For 1 tone, anyone can create their own token. Upon reaching a capitalization of 30 thousand dollars, the token automatically goes to the decentralized exchange Dedust, where it is then traded or rolled. In the cube, tokens do not go anywhere yet. Your token can collect at least a billion in capitalization, but it will still remain just crypto dust in the Coub application. It will not be possible to develop it normally at this stage. Therefore, 99% of the tokens created there live from a couple of hours to a couple of days, and then roll to zero.
Secondly. Here, as well as on Gas Pump, anyone can create their token for only 1 ton. And you can pump it up, as you understand, indefinitely. At the same time, there is one important detail: the creator, in addition to giving a miserable 1 ton for creating a token, also automatically receives a colossal part of the emission. About 20%, if I'm not mistaken. You understand that an unscrupulous person can pump up their tokens to a conditional 50-70 thousand capitalization, and then start hitting the glass until there is enough liquidity, turning your balances from zero?
Let's consider the third reason why pouring money into this memepad is not the best decision at the moment. As I already said, there are currently no conditions for making a quality memecoin in the cube that can be developed. Therefore, people make outright ludos. And the same gambling addicts enter them. No one will HODL and believe in the project. Most of the tokens there are bought for quick profit. So, if you want to buy some token, then know that there are already a hundred or two people in it who are just waiting to close on you.
In general, I do not advise you to get into this memepad yet. Perhaps, of course, there are a couple of good tokens, the creators of which plan to work on them after the memepad leaves beta. But the probability of getting into such a token is equal to the probability of winning at a casino. Think for yourself.
