Tools for Humanity, the company behind the devices that scan the iris to generate a kind of digital “proof of life” in exchange for cryptocurrencies (and which generated quite a stir in the country in 2023), announced a new feature of World ID, its “humanity passport”: it will be integrated with all video calling applications to stop the epidemic of virtual scams by deepfake.
