Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin wrote that it would be wise to lower the minimum deposit for staking from 32 ETH to 16 or 24 ETH. He believes that this would be beneficial for both staking accessibility and scaling. In the future, after a series of improvements, Buterin wants to lower the minimum deposit for staking to 1 $ETH
