Mt. Gox Transfers $75 Million+ in Bitcoin to Bitstamp!

It looks like another payment is on the horizon for Mt. Gox creditors! According to Arkham data, Mt. Gox transferred approximately $75.36 million in bitcoin (1264.69 BTC) to Bitstamp's wallet address.
This could be a sign that another payout is imminent, as Bitstamp was nominated by the Mt. Gox trustee to distribute repayments to creditors. Several exchanges, including Kraken, have already sent their share of the repayment funds.
As you may know, Mt. Gox was once the largest bitcoin exchange in the world until it was hacked in 2014, resulting in the loss of at least 850,000 BTC. This latest transfer brings the total amount transferred to Bitstamp to over $1 billion!
