An official Trump campaign spokesperson told The Associated Press that the former president was "fine" after the incident and was receiving medical treatment at a local facility.
âPresident Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick response during this heinous act,â spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement. "He is in stable condition and is currently being evaluated at a local medical facility. More details to come."
