Funding rates prevent divergence in the price of both markets, therefore, depending on open positions, traders will either pay or receive fees.Â

With a longwick candle in the weekly chart, the BTC price trend delays the rounding bottom breakout, with a neckline at 61.80% Fibonacci level. As of now, Bitcoin trades at $45,757 and struggles to sustain the bullish momentum.
In the breakout scenario where growing demand and market sentiment align, Bitcoin could very well reach the $50,000 mark this January. Optimistically, the uptrend can reach $60K by monthâs end.
Conversely, a fallback to the $45,000 level cannot be ruled out if the market fails to sustain momentum.

How to use the Volume Weighted Average Price indicator đ
đ VWAP represents the average price an asset has traded at throughout the day, based on both volume and price. This provides traders with information on what the average transaction price for an asset was during any given day
đ When the price is above the VWAP, it indicates that buyers are in control, suggesting a potential upward trend and a good opportunity for a long position.
đ When the price is below the VWAP, it shows that sellers are dominating, hinting at a downward trend and a spot sell or short signal.
VWAP is not only used to determine market direction but also helps in confirming trade setups. If the price is consistently above or below it, this can confirm the strength of a bullish or bearish trend.
ăœïž VWAP can also be utilized to spot potential reversal points when the price crosses the VWAP line (marked blue in the picture above).
