The US government just fell victim to a major hack! 😵 Here's the latest on this shocking incident:
1️⃣ The US government’s fund address, used to manage assets seized from the Bitfinex hacker, was compromised 11 hours ago. Stolen funds include USDC, USDT, aUSDC, and ETH totaling $20.71 million.
2️⃣ The stolen assets were transferred to 0x348...40A9f, where part of the stablecoins were converted to 2,709 ETH (worth about $6.8 million).
3️⃣ The converted ETH has been spread out to Binance and two fresh addresses. The hacker’s main wallet still holds aUSDC worth $13.2 million.
