How did I lose over $8000 in ETH from my MetaMask wallet that I've had for 10 years?
I've been using this wallet regularly for small transactions without any issues. However, when I attempted to transfer a substantial amount of $8000 worth of ETH to my MetaMask, I fell victim to a scam.
It appears that scammers were lying in wait for such significant transactions, and they managed to gain access to my funds. Upon investigation, it seems they obtained my private key, allowing them to siphon off my cryptocurrency.
Tips:
