What is SAGA?
Saga is a layer-1 blockchain that is built for developers. Saga even states in his litepaper that developers, some 'unseen heroes' of the Web 3 concept, deserve much more efficient and flexible platforms to build applications and chains.
Many in the crypto community believe that the future of infrastructure consists of sovereign blockchain networks that can interact and share data with each other without barriers. Therefore, Saga makes this vision accessible and inspires many web 2 developers to participate with their intellectual resources in web 3 thanks to this "infinite horizontal scalability", which is also the project's motto (en. infinite horizontal scalability).
Thus, other chains can be launched in the Saga network, with great ease, thanks to the 'chainlets' architecture, being interoperable (the ability to communicate freely between them) and share security. This allows projects to use multiple chainlets, which are in communion, to run a single application, or for projects built on other blockchains to use Saga to help their decentralized applications (dApp).
So far, Saga has appeared mainly as a gaming network, with about 80% of testnet projects falling into this category, although it is not exclusively designed for this use case.
Saga organized numerous play-to-airdrop tournaments and competitions in various games between December and February, and the winning players received an airdrop allocation of tokens.
Standing out as an L1 through which developers launch other L1 solutions at no cost, Saga makes development for mass adoption possible. The fast bridging and interoperability, the lack of gas taxes for end-users, but also the elastic scalability contribute to the creation of a chain that offers high-level performance with non-existent costs.
Binance will list SAGA on April 9th 14:00 (UTC) on: SAGA/BTC, SAGA/USDT, SAGA/BNB SAGA/FDUSD.
