Send 100 SOL - get 200 SOL back
Send 500 SOL - get 1000 SOL back
Send 1000 SOL- get 2500 SOL back
…
Don’t be fooled by this $SOL #scam - it usually is presented as #Giveaway or #AirdropOpportunity - be aware if you see message like this: ”To receive SOL from our giveaway - you have to send SOL & we will send back to you double the amount, instantly! This is to avoid bad actors exploiting our giveaway.”
#scammers are building websites that look very genuine. They are trying to create a sense of urgency by adding countdowns, you can spot messages like: “You can only participate ONCE!” - this is building trust. Often there will be some proof of work element - a table or notifications showing “real-time” ongoing transactions. And yes, fake people images with testimonials of how they can finally live a dream life. Sure… you can see attached screenshot.
I see many ads on YouTube trying to convince people to double their crypto. Many times sponsored advertisement. Why Google doesn’t block it? 💰?
