💥Police Officer Among Suspects in Karachi 🇵🇰Crypto Trader's Kidnapping

Arsalan, a cryptocurrency trader, was kidnapped on December 25 in Karachi, Pakistan, by five individuals posing as police officers. The kidnappers, traveling in an unmarked police van, forced Arsalan to transfer $340,000 from his crypto account to theirs and also stole Rs8,000 in cash before releasing him.

Following the abduction, seven suspects, including a police officer, were arrested. The suspects were named Haris Ashar, Muhammad Rizwan Shah, Tariq Hassan Shah, Muzammil Raza, Umar Jilani, Umar, and Noman Rifat

Evidence, such as a police vehicle and a route map tracking the suspects’ movements, implicated law enforcement personnel in the crime. The Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) is continuing its investigation to uncover the full extent of police involvement.

This disturbing incident has raised serious concerns about the safety of cryptocurrency traders in Pakistan, highlighting the need for greater awareness and preventive measures, as well as stronger law enforcement to tackle such crimes effectively.
