Bitwise has recently filed for a new type of ETF, the Bitcoin Standard Corporations ETF, which focuses on companies holding significant Bitcoin reserves in their corporate treasuries. This ETF aims to invest in companies with at least 1,000 BTC, a market capitalization of at least $100 million, and a daily trading volume of at least $1 million. Notable companies like MicroStrategy and Tesla are expected to be key components due to their substantial Bitcoin holdings.
Additionally, Bitwise has also filed for a Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF, which would provide balanced exposure to the two largest cryptocurrencies. The SEC is currently seeking industry feedback on this application, which reflects the growing interest and competition in the crypto ETF market.
