Inco Network and Circle Research have introduced the Confidential ERC-20 Framework, an innovative solution for privacy in public blockchains. This new framework transforms standard ERC-20 tokens into confidential versions, protecting transaction amounts and balances from public view while meeting privacy regulations.

It uses Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) to conceal transaction data on Ethereum-based blockchains without compromising security. The framework allows authorized parties access to transaction details for oversight, reducing risks and enhancing transparency. It can be applied to various sectors such as payroll processing, supply chain management, and peer-to-peer payments.

The Confidential ERC-20 Framework supports programmable compliance measures and is open-source for developers to integrate privacy-focused financial applications.
