Peter Todd, of the crypto community is being targeted as Satoshi Nakamoto by some conspirationists, and has no intention of hiding from them.

These claims spurred a conversation in the crypto community, after their mention in the HBO documentary Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery.

Recently, in an interview, Todd denied these accusations and characterized Satoshi as a deception.

Todd beefs up security

Well, seeing how he's supposed to be in possession of $74.4 billion worth of, seems to be prudent.

“I have taken some security measures,” he said, however, he did not go into detail because it's, “better to keep the bad guys off-balance.”

He always sought the light and headed into the darkness after that said nothing.

A monument in the form of a bust of Satoshi Nakamoto was unveiled at a Bitcoin conference in Switzerland, where he spoke.

He had declared to appear at multiple cryptocurrency events over the following weeks, proof of his work and dedication toward the Bitcoin community which never faded.

However, Satoshi was not approached, nor identified as such, during or as a consequence of the HBO show's airing.

Restricted his personal and publicity activity in order to deceive the public.

Todd, being the Bitcoin enthusiast that is, frequently receives inquiries regarding his role in the creation of Bitcoin. It appears that there are now even more questions about the future.

However, despite the events surrounding him that would normally cause such speculation, none have been directed at him until recently.

Money Electric director Cullen Hoback believed in Todd’s early work with a digital currency and in the writing of Nakamoto.

However, Todd continues to describe Hoback's narrative in these events as “ludicrous.”

Meanwhile Hoback claimed that Todd’s young attempts with digital currencies and one more lost blog post advocate this idea, but it was disregarded by those who had been in the crypto space for long.

He has stated that such opposition made by Todd is all part of the plan devised much earlier to deceive the public, taking to social media to make his point.

He referred to Todd’s public appearance as ‘Machiavellian’, implying that his complexities have multitudes of layers.

According to Todd, charges like these are just the new rumour that Satoshi identity has once again changed hands.

Nakamoto Could Be Collective

Yet another analysis attempted to provide an answer: no, It could not be just one person, it could be several.

The use of both “we” and “I” in the bitcoin white paper implies that a team worked under one person’s direction as one.

And linguistic analysis of Nakamoto’s papers also provides an additional argument.

The whole white paper is filled with perfect english and terms used in durable written engineering.

Although the same may not be said about forum posts or emails, indicating that many people were involved in writing these.

Timestamps on Nakamoto's mails suggest numerous people were involved.

Nobody knows who Nakamoto was he could have possibly been from the uk or some parts of California, however the study “The Time Zones of Satoshi Nakamoto” suggests otherwise, stating that Nakamoto likely lived in est time zone based on his hourly activities.

If Nakamoto was a collective, then possibly several different time zones would be in play.
