đŸ˜±đŸȘ‚Sharp drop in Scroll (SCR): "Could it be the worst airdrop in history?"

Ethereum’s layer-2 network Scroll continues to draw reactions with its long-awaited token #SCR

Many users expressed their satisfaction with this Scroll as it continues to expand, as in the Hamster Kombat airdrop.

In the project’s first airdrop, 5.5 percent of the total $SCR supply (55 million SCR out of 1 billion tokens) was distributed early, contributing to the ecosystem in the past.

According to the Scroll team’s blog post, 40 million SCR of this amount was given to those who earned 200 or more Scroll points on the layer-2 network. In addition, 1 percent of the total supply was shared equally among eligible budgets, while 0.5 percent was offered as a “bonus” for meeting certain criteria.

Both the airdrop features and the SCR price seem to be numerous and network-focused. In fact, many think Scroll has made the worst airdrop in its history.

Many Scroll network users, who were subjected to criticism of the SCR airdrop, expressed their displeasure on X (formerly Twitter), claiming that the airdrop was not met. Some users criticized the project with humorous content and the insufficient amount of SCR distributed.

A person named DYOR.eth described the airdrop as “one of the worst airdrops in history” in a post he made, stating that the assets on the Scroll network were flowing out. A popular airdrop follower Joshyy described the event as “the worst airdrop ever.” Other users made posts implying that the performance and value of the Scroll airdrop were not met.

A 23 percent loss in just one day, the SCR token rapidly decreased in value after the airdrop. According to CoinGecko systems, SCR decreased by 23 percent to 1.07 after the airdrop transaction. It is common for new crypto tokens to experience a decline after the airdrop.
