Bitcoin dominance declines as 75% altcoins outperform $BTC - AMB Crypto Analytics

Bitcoin's (BTC) dominance has faced resistance at the $58 level, dropping to 56.71% from last week's 58%. This decline is seen as positive for altcoins, with their market cap rising as BTC's hold weakens. Analysts suggest this trend may lead to an altcoin season, especially as BTC forms a bearish rising wedge pattern.

ETH/BTC ratio shows ETH down 2.40% in the past 24 hours but up 6.28% against BTC over the past 30 days, indicating stronger altcoin performance. Memecoins have also surged, with market cap rising from $43.7 billion to $50.9 billion.

Several altcoins outperformed Bitcoin recently, including Sui (183.5%), Bittensor (136.1%), and Aave (61%). Currently, 75% of the top 50 coins have outpaced BTC in the last 90 days. The Altcoin Season Index is now at 37, up from 33, signaling stronger altcoin momentum.
