In one of the blocks of the blockchain code, he or someone else placed his portrait in symbols.
On July 3, 2011, Len tragically committed suicide at the age of 31, after a long battle with depression and neurological disorders.
His death coincided with the disappearance of Satoshi Nakamoto.
Just 2 months before Len's death, Satoshi sent his last message:
"I have moved on to other things and will probably not be around in the future."
